Sunrise January 2, 2024

We had a great day at sea to start off the New Year. We were up early and enjoyed a spectacular sunrise (picture below, but they don’t do it justice).. During the day we relaxed and read. It was quite windy most of the day, so walking on the deck was challenging. And swimming in the pool was even more challenging. But, of course, these are very first world problems to have. We enjoyed music in the lounge, the sunset from the Explorer’s Lounge (also below) followed by dinner. We then made an early night of i - as all that relaxing was exhausting LOL. Lots of thoughts of Mom on her 94th birthday, so it was a day of gratitude indeed, for the incredible gift she was in our lives. She is certainly with us in spirit.
