Dolphins, Whales and Sea Turtles - Honolulu

January 14, 2024 - We’ve spotted lots of birds and the occasional dolphin over the last month, but aren’t quick enough (or patient enough) to capture them in photos. We do have some incredible photographers onboard and at least one, is very willing to share her photos. The pictures below are from Karla Hayes, who has taken incredible pictures everyday. In Honolulu she did a whale watching excursion, and got pictures of whales flipping their tales, “spinning” dolphins and sea turtles. She was on deck as we sailed out of Honolulu as she expected whale sightings given what she saw during the excursion. She captured a whale doing a full breach. I thought the children in particular would enjoy these shots.
